RSVP consultants offer Nonprofit Management Workshops

The Volunteer Executive Consultant (VEC) program of RSVP will host the first of three workshops on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM to Noon at the RSVP office 901 E. 8th Avenue, Suite 200, King of Prussia, PA  19406.  This first workshop, Inner Workings of Successful Nonprofits.   This workshop will take you behind the scenes of nonprofits that have fundraised effectively, established their brand and marketed themselves to the right target audiences.  Topics to be covered include:

• How some nonprofits take it to a next level
• What do they do differently than you
• What are the lessons learned that your organization should be using

On Friday, April 27 from 9:00 AM to Noon, RSVP’s VEC’s popular Meet the Funders program will take place at the Hyatt House, 240 Mall Boulevard, King of Prussia. Representatives from local foundations and corporations will make presentations followed by a Q&A and breakout session.  This is an important and popular workshop for nonprofits wanting to learn more about the decision process of getting their grants and proposals funded. Panelists include:  The Douty Foundation, VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn.

On Tuesday, May 22, from 10:00 AM to Noon, (coffee and networking at 9:30 AM) RSVP’s VEC will host a seminar, Marketing: A Recipe for Survival. Solid marketing to all audiences is critical:  to donors to raise funds; to potential clients to provide services; to volunteers to keep the organization alive.  In this workshop, you will learn how to develop a marketing plan through:

• Market Research
• SWOT Analysis
• Strategic Planning
• Setting Goals and Timelines
