Montco SAAC to Toast Seniors at Corks and Forks Fundraiser

Join us for Corks & Forks, a Tasting to Benefit Montco SAAC, to ensure that Montco’s seniors continue to receive support. This fundraiser will be an evening filled with local fare, live music, and glasses raised for Montco’s seniors.

Experience the rich variety of flavors offered by our areas’ restaurants and beverage companies while helping to ensure that Montco SAAC can continue to serve older adults across the region as it has for over five decades. With The River Bones Band as live entertainment for the evening, you will dance from tasting station to station. Overlooking the Cedarbrook Country Club’s beautiful grounds, this fun event will include exciting silent auction items to bid on, opportunities to learn more about all that Montco SAAC has to offer, as well as information about the event sponsors.

The Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County opened its doors in 1965 as a welcoming place for seniors in Norristown to receive a warm, nutritious lunch. Since then, this nonprofit has expanded to include two senior centers offering educational programming, social services, and nutritionally balanced lunches, three Meals on Wheels programs that serve 350 homebound seniors across lower Montgomery County, and an intergenerational art center in Ambler. In total, over 2,000 people benefit from the programs and services offered through Montco SAAC.

This hugely beneficial community organization depends on support from people like you.  Tickets are available at The tasting will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Cedarbrook Country Club, 180 Penllyn Pike Blue Bell, PA 19422. We are still accepting sponsors and silent auction items for this important event. Please call Renae Gagen of Montco SAAC at 610-275-1960. Don’t miss being a part of this tasty evening and join us in making Montgomery County stronger for everyone.
