Ten-day conversation series focuses on legacy of Malcolm X

The Islamic Cultural Preservation and Information Council and the New Africa Center will present a Malcolm X Legacy Conversation, taking place in multiple venues around Philadelphia for ten days, and concluding with Malcolm’s birthday on May 19.

Each conservation will include a screening of the film “The Autobiography of Malcolm X” which focuses on the impact of the book by the same name, had on race relations in America. The film has dramatizations and interviews with Malcolm X’s family and friends along with scholars and authors.
