Youth Action is excited to announce that applications are now open for two of our Philadelphia-based service and leadership development programs: Junior Youth Action & the Inspiring Leaders Program. Both programs are free of charge and are intended to provide students with mentorship, leadership development training, and exposure to service and civic engagement.
Students entering 7th and 8th grade in Fall 2018 are invited to apply to the Junior Youth Action Program here. Students entering 9th and 10th grade in Fall 2019 are invited to apply to the Inspiring Leaders Program here.
Early consideration applications are due online by Friday, July 13, 2018 at midnight. Applicants will be notified by July 22, 2018. Regular decision deadline is Friday, July 20, 2018. Applicants will be notified by July 30, 2018.

Junior Youth Action (JYA) is a student operated mentorship and leadership development program for 7th and 8th grade students in Greater Philadelphia that explores the value of leadership, service and civic engagement.
Inspiring Leaders Program
For students entering 9th & 10th grade in Fall 2018
Program Runs from September to May
The Inspiring Leaders Program (ILP) is an experiential leadership development program for 9th and 10th grade students in the Greater Philadelphia area. The program provides students with leadership training, $2,500 in funding to organize service projects in Philadelphia, and mentorship.
