Enrollment open at YWCA’s Royersford Early Education Center

Children ages 3-5 from qualified families may enroll in YWCA Tri-County Area's Pre-K Counts early childhood education program in Royersford.

Pre-K Counts is a full-day, state-funded, pre-kindergarten program for children whose family incomes are 300% of the federal poverty level or less. There is no cost, and children receive a free lunch daily. Pre-K Counts classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

YW's Royersford Early Education Center is at the Royersford United Methodist Church, 380 Church Street.

As a Pre-K Counts student, your child will:

• work with teachers with the education and expertise to teach young children effectively;
• use a curriculum that will help your child grow academically and socially;
• have his/her progress reviewed regularly;
• take part in teaching and learning activities that are best for your child;
• adjust to pre-kindergarten and prepare for a smooth transition to kindergarten;
• have small class sizes with plenty of one-on-one time with teachers.

Call Beth Hallman, center director, at 610-948-0200 to discuss eligibility or to enroll your children.

YW's Royersford Center also is enrolling infants and toddlers, ages 6 months to 3 years. Hours are 6:30 a.m .to 6:30 p.m. Call the Royersford Center today for enrollment information.
