EC Action Collective publishes report on ECE Fiscal Hub project

The Early Childhood Action Collective (ECAC) is pleased to share with you information about the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Fiscal Hub, a pilot project focused on improving the financial stability of providers in Philadelphia.

Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), Reinvestment Fund, and CoMetrics partnered to develop the Fiscal Hub in 2017. This project, funded by the William Penn Foundation and Vanguard Strong Start for Kids Program, focused on creating financial tools and resources for providers to improve their financial stability and increase access to providers’ financial data so the sector could better understand their fiscal conditions.

To learn more, please see:

• the FULL REPORT, that analyzes the financial health of a diverse cohort of providers in Philadelphia and suggests program-level and policy-level recommendations to improve business management in the ECE sector, or
• an OVERVIEW OF FISCAL HUB RESOURCES, which includes a new online tool and proposed ECE industry standards.
