Philadelphia Military Academy, 2118 N 13th St.
ASAP's Summer Debate Academy is a free, two-week day camp designed for new and novice debaters in middle and high school. Over the two-week period, participating students will learn the ins and out of Public Forum Debate, research and explore a relevant topic through interactive field trips, and work with their teammates to create pro and con cases. The Academy wraps up with a two-day debate tournament, where champions will be crowned and all students will be celebrated for their hard work and accomplishments.
Our topic will be Standardized Testing in Schools. "Resolved: On balance, standardized testing is beneficial to K-12 education in the United States"
