The 2019 Women and Leadership Forum: Taking Charge of Change will be held by the Montgomery County Foundation on Wednesday, December 4th from 7:30am to 2:30pm.
Join us for a powerful day of education, inspiration and networking!
We live in a fast-changing environment. The workplace is changing. For the first time, five generations are employed together, working side by side. And changes in personal life can provide roadblocks as well as opportunities for professional success and happiness.
The 2019 Women and Leadership Forum will focus on how women leaders can navigate these changes. Sheryl Williams, of SheWillLead, will talk about increasing your Generational Quotient to bridge the generation gaps and succeed in a multigenerational workplace. Lisa Lord, of Lisa Lord Consulting, will present tools to harness change and drive professional success. And Cheryl Rice, founder of the You Matter movement, will show attendees how to transform their inner critic into their inner champion.
Attendees will leave with strategies to take charge of the evolving landscape - to adapt, lead and succeed. And we will honor an extraordinaary woman - Tamala Edwards, 6abc, weekday co-anchor of Action News Mornings - for her own inspiring journey and leadership, with the 2019 Woman of Distinction Award!
