Mayor's office sets roundtable on the racial wealth gap in city

Please join the Mayor's Office of Community Empowerment & Opportunity for the next installment in our round table series Economic Mobility: Earn, Keep, Grow - Asset Building Strategies to Bridge the Racial Wealth Gap.

The racial wealth gap has its origins in discriminatory policies and practices that span generations, such as redlining, restrictive covenants, and block busting.

At this round table you will have an opportunity to view an exhibit on the history and legacy of redlining in Philadelphia, and hear presentations on the systems and structures that perpetuate the racial wealth gap today, as well as promising strategies to bridge the racial wealth gap.
