Nominations open for 11th Grade "Girls with Grit"

JMB Award provides mentoring, financial support, financial empowerment coaching, and intergenerational support to help ambitious, resilient female-identified students advance their professional dreams.

Know an 11th grader who is ambitious, persistent, committed to her dreams and her community? Consider nominating her for the JMB Award. Founded in 2015, JMB Award's mission is to equip ambitious, resilient young women from Philadelphia with the tools and support to advance their professional dreams.

Awardees receive $2,300 for education-related expenses, are matched with a mentor, participate in financial education sessions and workshops, and join an intergenerational community of women for networking, support, and celebration. Five students are awarded annually.
