In 2008, the City of Philadelphia engaged Pathways to Housing PA to bring the evidence-based Housing First model to Philadelphia to help end chronic homelessness. This innovative method has proven to be successful; our organization has achieved an unprecedented 85% housing retention rate (5+ years later) with clients that are considered "not housing ready" by other programs. Pathways’ mission is to empower people with disabilities to improve their housing stability, achieve better health, and reclaim their lives.
Now, we’re ready to help you achieve comparable success in your community with the launch of our new training initiative – Housing First University.
Housing First University (HFU) offers the people and organizations we work with a spectrum of services to meet their needs – from targeted training to support evidence-based practice, to intensive consulting engagements that address adaptive challenges. We work with our clients to tailor solutions that are responsive to their unique needs across these three service offerings: Training, Technical Assistance, and Consulting.
