Many nonprofits are struggling with disconnected information systems and whether or not there is a “right” answer to collecting and analyzing data that speaks to true mission impact. How do we present data that speaks to our impact and not just our outputs--the number of clients served? This session will provide an overview of current trends around data collection and management and engage participants in a dialogue around how best to take stock of current practices and create a roadmap for next steps. We’ll also review strategies to identify additional resources for improving program monitoring and outcome assessment.
