Workshop focuses on gambling and women

The Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania will present a training, Problem Gambling: Women in Treatment, on Friday, June 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m at Community Behavioral Health, 801 Market Street, 11th floor in Philadelphia.

This workshop is designed to provide an overview of problem gambling issues, focusing on prevalence rates and treatment methods for women suffering from this disorder.

Participants will:
• Discuss prevalence rates of women seeking treatment for gambling disorder
• Discuss ways to identify gambling problems among female population
• Discuss tools for screening and assessment tools as well as DSM-5 criteria
• Discuss current prevention and treatment methods
