UW, LaSalle offer Delaware County agencies workshop on managing change

United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) and the Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University’s School of Business are holding a series of capacity building workshops for nonprofits that are based in and provide services for Delaware County.

The next workshop, The Principles and Practices of Managing Change, will be held on June 23  from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m. at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, Room 171, 200 Yale Avenue, in Morton, Pa. A light breakfast will be provided.

We are always in the process of change. Navigating these changes and ensuring that your organization is positioned appropriately in its environment is one of the key functions of an effective organizational leader. In the final workshop of the series, participants will gain an understanding of their role as leaders of change, improve their skills in the change process, acquire tools and ideas to draw upon as they manage change and learn to appreciate the value and benefits that change brings.

The workshop is limited to 30 participants and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Please RSVP to Rich Crespo.

UWGPSNJ and the Nonprofit Center are committed to helping nonprofits do what they do better by ensuring their leaders have the tools they need to succeed. We hope you will join us as we work together to strengthen and support the nonprofit sector in the region.
