City children and youth service agencies issue RFPs

The City's Office of Children and Families as well as the Department of Human Services have issued a number of Requests for Proposals in the past two weeks.

Philadelphia OCF has released a RFP for support with the development and implementation of a Community Schools and management coaching for Community Schools operations team.

Philadelphia Department of Human Services Request for Proposals (RFP) Medical/Respiratory/Clinical Group Home Care
The Philadelphia Department of Human Services (DHS) desires to receive proposals from qualified applicants to provide Group Home Care /Congregate Care (Special Medical/Physical/Intellectual Disability) services for dependent youth newborn through twenty one years of age. The facility/home must have the capacity to accommodate from eight to sixteen youth and meet all contracting and licensure requirements. This requested provision of services requires 24-hours/7-days clinical, respiratory and medical healthcare for children ages 0-21 years of age with special and/or chronic complex medical conditions/physical disabilities

Philadelphia Department of Human Services Request for Proposals (RFP)
Philadelphia DHS has released a RFP on Group Home Care. Group Home Care (GHC) is designed to meet the needs of youth ages 13-21, who are unable to live in a family-based setting and who do not require more intensive residential service, such as Residential Treatment. GHC provides 24-hour/7-days a week care and supervision to youth who are involved with DHS and are unable to live in their homes of origin or in other family-based care.

Philadelphia Department of Human Services Request for Proposals (RFP)
Philadelphia DHS has released a RFP on Emergency Shelter Care (ESC). ESC is a short term, 30-day placement to address the needs of adolescents ages 13-21 in crisis. This service is designed to provide emergency placement in a safe, clean living environment, with an emphasis on strengthening family connections and providing quality structured programming, groups, leisure and recreational activities in the youth’s community of origin, whenever possible, medical services, sexual health supports and information, and service coordination support.

Philadelphia Office of Children and Families (OCF) has released a Request for Proposals RFP for case management support in the community schools.
OCF is seeking to engage community based organizations in the provision of General Socio-Economic Case Management Services that will support the families of the students at nine Community Schools. The goal of the service is to ensure household stability that can then translate into the student attending school regularly and succeeding academically.
