The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) has announced the availability of up to $24 million in Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) funding for grants and technical assistance to address community violence throughout the Commonwealth.
VIP funding is intended to support effective local intervening and preventative measures to stop gun and group violence in areas experiencing high rates of violent crime within Pennsylvania. Community-based organizations, institutions of higher education, local municipalities, district attorneys, and counties are eligible to apply.
Eligible entities can submit an initial request for funding utilizing an online SurveyMonkey form between now and October 15, 2021.
