New federal RFP will support re-entry services and programs

The federal Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for funding under the Second Chance Act (SCA) to provide grants to nonprofit organizations and Indian tribes to provide reentry services and programs. This program furthers the Department of Justice's mission by reducing recidivism and facilitating the successful reintegration of individuals returning from incarceration.

You can learn more about this opportunity here. The deadline to apply is May 23, 2022. Note that this is a national solicitation that is only expecting to make 9 total awards for "non-rural" communities like Philly, so this will be extremely competitive. Grants are for 3 years, $750,000 total for the life of the grant.
