Older Pennsylvanians and Pennsylvanians with disabilities who qualify for a rebate on rent or property taxes paid in 2021 will receive more money than usual this year. On top of their annual rebate, recipients will also receive a one-time bonus rebate equal to 70 percent of their original rebate amount. You might be eligible!
If you haven't already, make sure to submit an application for Pennsylvania's Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program by December 31. The bonus rebates are funded by the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). AARP Pennsylvania proudly supports the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program and advocated for the one-time use of ARPA funds to help eligible Pennsylvanians combat inflation and remain in their homes -- where they want to be.
