Lift Every Voice Philly (LEV) is searching for a grant writing wizard to support our development goals by sourcing, researching, and applying to foundation funding opportunities. Lift Every Voice has significant grant funding from William Penn Foundation, the Philadelphia Foundation, Kind Foundation, Philadelphia Black Giving Circle, among others.
Grant Manager Responsibilities
- Develop LEV’s strategy for private foundation funding
- Identify and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to grow private foundation funding
- Create clear, concise, and compelling proposals and LOIs that animate our work, values, and vision
- Prepare grant related materials including reports and summaries as needed for funders and board of directors
- Develop and maintain portal log-ins and yearly grants calendar and tracking tools
We’re looking for someone with:
- At least three years experience grant writing for nonprofits (ideal)
- Excellent writing skills with a strong knack for bridging stories and data
