Philadelphia Foundation is excited to announce details of our Spring 2024 competitive grant cycle.
To better align prospective grantees with the grant categories where they stand the greatest chance of success, we have made some minor changes to our traditional process.
These changes will also help us better connect donors with charitable funds at the Philadelphia Foundation to nonprofits across the region.
All grant categories, requirements and funding levels remain the same as in prior years.
Our hope is that these minor changes create less work for prospective grantees, better position applicants for success and provide clarity on grant eligibility, especially for those organizations considering applying for competitive and/or special initiative grants.

Spring '24 Grant Cycle Key Dates
February 9
- Organizations can begin entering their profile in the grant portal.
February 15
- Grant Information Webinar (register below)
March 1
- Deadline to submit organization profile
March 1-8
- Organizations will receive an email with a customized link inviting you to begin the second part of the application
March 8
- Organizations can complete their application(s) in the grant portal
March 29-Midnight
- Deadline to submit grant applications
Late May/Early June
- Grant awards announced; payments processed
