On Thursday, February 15, the Free Library announced the 2024 featured title for the One Book, One Philadelphia program: True Biz, about the River Valley School for the Deaf, a haven for new kid Charlie, golden boy Austin, and February, the headmistress. When the school faces closure, all struggle with what this might mean for them and for their community.
One Book, One Philadelphia is a signature project of the Free Library of Philadelphia that promotes literacy, library usage, and civic dialogue by encouraging the entire greater Philadelphia area to come together through reading and discussing a single book.
