The Barry & Marie Lipman Family Prize, administered by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, recognizes and amplifies the work of organizations creating sustainable solutions to significant social and economic challenges — with an emphasis on transferability and impact of practices.
This is the eleventh year of this annual, global prize that includes a financial award component as well as non-monetary award package of educational opportunities and other supports from both Wharton and the greater University of Pennsylvania community. The 2022 Prize includes a $250,000 unrestricted cash award for the winning organization, a $100,000 unrestricted cash award for each of the two additional honoree organizations, and non-monetary benefits through the partnership with the University of Pennsylvania.
