City seeks nominees for 2022 Mayor's Service Awards

The Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service (MOCEVS) is accepting nominations for the 2022 Mayor’s Service Awards.

Every year, the Mayor’s Office celebrates outstanding volunteers, community leaders, and national service members and alums at the Mayor’s Day of Service Recognition awards. MOCEVS will accept nominations throughout the month of January across 4 award categories:

Mayor’s Philly Hero Award: Philadelphia residents that have made a unique contribution to the city through service.
  
Mayor’s Youth Hero Award: Philadelphia residents under 18 that have made a unique contribution to the city through service.

Mayor’s Distinguished National Service Award: Residents currently serving in AmeriCorps or AmeriCorps Seniors that have gone above and beyond the requirements of their service position.

Mayor’s Distinguished National Service Alumni Award: Residents who are alumni of AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps Seniors, or Peace Corps and have continued to exemplify service throughout their lives.

Celebrate your volunteers and elevate the great work they help you do! Nominate them for a Mayor’s Day of Service Recognition award.

Deadline for nominations is January 31, 2022.
