City DHS re-opens foster youth pandemic relief payments

The Philadelphia Department of Human Services has re-opened the Pandemic Relief Program. Eligible youth can apply to receive a one-time, direct payment of $800.

The extra cash can help cover basic needs like food, housing, and employment.

The program is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility

• Applicants ages 18 through 22 who are/were in foster care at the age of 14 years or older.
• Parenting youth ages 14 through 22 and who are/were in foster care at the age of 14 years or older.
