Candidates for mayor go on the record on kids issues

By now, you should know our motto...Philly kids can't wait.

But it's more than just a motto for The Kids Campaign. It's a determination to get parents, grandparents, caregivers, advocates, and community leaders across Philadelphia the answers they demand from candidates for mayor on how they intend to keep our children safe.

Now, more than 70 organizations and hundreds of people strong, The Kids' Campaign wants to make a difference in the upcoming Philly mayor’s race by sharing with voters the information they need to determine which candidate will keep Philly’s kids safe.

We put together a list of 12 questions designed by The Kids' Campaign, collected from people like you, and posed them to each candidate. We invite you to view which candidates responded and read their responses to questions like... how will you, as mayor, ensure that Philadelphia is a city where we have the courage to heal systemic rifts that disproportionately harm children of color and how will you, as mayor, make sure every child has a safe and stable home and access to healthcare?

After you've had a chance to see how candidates stack up on issues that you care about, you might have more questions!  We invite you to join us at one, or more, of these neighborhood forums to see what candidates have to say.

Please share this information with others and encourage them to sign up as either an individual or sign up their organization.
