The Chester County Department of Community Development (DCD) is accepting applications for an Accounting Supervisor position within its Fiscal Team.
The Accounting Supervisor oversees all financial aspects of the department including development and managing of the current $18 million department budget. Additional responsibilities include direct supervision of five (5) fiscal positions, day-to-day oversight of financial transactions, and grants management.
Interested candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and six (6) years of job-related experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, working knowledge of budgets, spreadsheets, interpreting audits, an understanding of federal and state fiscal compliance and recordkeeping requirements.
This position is eligible to participate in the Chester County Remote Work/Telework Policy.
