Mayor's CEO office issues 'Impact Report' for 2022

Achieving economic justice through the lens of racial equity is a long game. There are no shortcuts.

Repairing the harm from centuries of systemic racism will take time. Philadelphia has made progress in several areas in recent years, but significant disparities persist and race still too often determines a person's destiny.

The Mayor's Office on Community Empowerment and Opportunity is committed to being a changemaker through our advocacy, data-driven strategies, supporting and leading innovative programs, and convening stakeholders in the region to advance economic justice work. We are confident that many of the lessons learned from these last few years will help us empower our communities to remove the roadblocks to prosperity.

Please read our 2022 Impact Report to see how CEO directly put $31 million back into the pockets of vulnerable Philadelphians and allocated $7.5 million of CARES Act funding to leverage community-driven solutions.
